MiniBot with tracks, inspired by SMARS
thingiverse
This is a remix of the SMARS robot. It is bigger and the caterpillar tracks do not have to be assembled but can be printed out in one print job! The only screws used in assembly are the screws that are provided with the servos. The MiniBot is driven by two 'TS90D Mini Servo - 1.6kg - Continuous' servos. The advantage of using servos is that no motordriver shield is needed. The MiniBot can be powered with a standard powerbank, so no special chargers / batteries are needed. To drive it you can use multiple embedded boards, like Arduino or ESP32 based. In addition a robot gripper can be mounted, see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5443468. For the FreeCAD files and example code, see https://github.com/rbakx/MiniBot.
