Miniature Streetlamp
thingiverse
A miniature streetlamp for your DIY christmas sceneries! (5.2 cm tall) The street lamp is made with a hole running on the inside. Through the hole you can push a small LED on a typical small LED string light (See the images, these are probably the same world-wide?). The LEDs on either side of the LED that is in the lamp head, can be hidden in the base of the lamp, where there is a cavity for that purpose. I recommend hot gluing them in place, so they at the same time constrain the lamp LED from moving. To space out the streetlamps, I would recommend using some vinyl tape or other opaque tape, to block out the lights of the LEDs that are in between the street lamps. Finally, if you want the cosy shine on the lamps, that is shown on the scenary photos, then you need to cut out a small piece of yellow silk paper (or some other diffusing material) and glue it to the inside of the lamp (use some white glue or similar). End off with hot gluing the lamp "hat" on. Hope the "recipe" makes sense and Merry Christmas ;-) PS: There is a verison with and without spikes at the end, which can be useful, if you're placing them in flamingo/styrofoam
