Miniature painting stand version 1.0
thingiverse
I've crafted a miniature painting base from scratch, and it's still in its first iteration - an improved design is on the way. I'm working to create interchangeable stands that can be used when painting multiple miniatures, just like sticking them onto a cork and using that cork across multiple paintings stands, so there's only a need to print one set of components. Print the base, the stopper, and the support - the support height can be adjusted by sliding the stopper up or down the base and can be rotated around for easy access to different areas of the model you're painting. I rely on putty rubber (kneaded rubber) to hold miniatures onto the base; it lasts a long time and holds them firmly while you paint, is easy to remove after painting, and with just a little bit of water, you can clean any residues left on the base of the miniature.
