Miniature Painting Holding Stick
thingiverse
Miniature Painting Sticks. No more paint bottles, corks, and other weird contraptions. I've made these to be an all-in-one solution for painting 28mm scale models. More specifically, Warhammer 40K by Games Workshop. There are multiple mounting options available for the models. Plastic base inserts can be pushed into the slot. Other models with a 3mm pin can also be pushed straight into the stand. The standard base size fits perfectly on top and can be held in place with blu-tack or tape. Models pinned to paperclips, etc., can be easily taped to the side. An 8mm hole is included in the base of the stick. This can be used for mounting on an 8mm bolt or rod for stability while spraying. Or for mounting on a stand. Or any other use you can think of. Print Settings: Printer: Pursa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: 10% + Notes: Density helps with weight and support when leaving free-standing. It also has an 8mm hole in the bottom for mounting on a threaded rod. A short length of 8mm threaded rod can always be cut off and hammered in for additional weight.
