Miniature Painter's Figure Holder

Typically I rely on corks to secure miniatures in place while painting, but this method can be problematic when the model features a tab for a slotted base or long pins in its feet. This versatile holder is cleverly designed as two halves that come together with rubber bands which compress the tab or pins between two pieces of cork. To set up, simply cut out some cork to size and glue it into the recessed area on the inside of the holder.
