Miniature Paint Brush Stand / Organization Tray
thingiverse
This is a versatile stand/organizer for miniature paint brushes (or any small paint brushes). The three trays in the front can be used for anything, but I plan to use the two smaller ones for water to clean my brushes after painting and the larger one for a dry sponge or paper towels to aid in dry brushing. Others have reported that prints may not be watertight, so I added an extra layer of thickness to the walls to ensure they could hold water without leaking. To seal any small cracks where water might seep through, I primed and painted them, which also helped bond the four pieces together. If necessary, a hot glue gun would have been used to permanently attach everything. However, fixing the pieces together isn't required; it just makes the top more stable since there's some play between the risers and their slots. To print this stand/organizer, you'll need to use the following quantities: 1 Base 1 Top 2 Risers Print Settings: Printer: Customer (3UP) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 15%
