See it in action here: https://quik.gopro.com/v/UaBeLvSyMo/ I've been painting miniatures for over two decades now, and most of the time I rely on a cork or some other item to hold or pin the model down. The problem is that with larger hands and extended periods, it causes cramping in my fingers and joints to grasp such a tiny piece, not to mention I never feel like I have a secure grip on the model. That's why I created this to eliminate those issues and also enable me to rotate the model while painting without losing control. Suggestions: - Make sure to turn some pieces over - they've got indentations on the bottom! I included a shaft print, but in the end, I opted for cutting a 1/4 inch PVC pipe instead. It was much easier to whittle down to the perfect tightness and didn't waste any material. Be certain to glue the turn wheel and top piece without inadvertently gluing the main body together. Do a fit check and shave it down as close as you can, so that you get a snug fit and ensure the wheel doesn't turn while you're painting.
