Miniature Filament Spool Props

Human: I created adorable 3D printed miniature filament spools in my spare time between bigger projects. They turned out irresistibly cute and colorful, prompting me to share them with everyone. This project showcases a unique blend of high and low resolution FDM printing techniques. To achieve the realistic filament look, I printed the filament at an incredibly thin layer height of 0.4mm, while using the best possible resolution for the spools themselves. The snap fit design is clever, but since I hadn't calibrated my printer profile between different colors, I added a small amount of glue to some of them to ensure they stayed together. This was also an experiment to see just how tiny I could make these miniature spools, and while they're too small to serve as keychains, they're still impressive. Print Settings: Using a 0.4mm nozzle Print the spool at best possible resolution Print the filament cylinder at an incredibly thin layer height of 0.4mm The slicer might complain that the layer is the same size as the nozzle, but trust me, it works beautifully with these tiny models Print these using 3 shells to ensure the filament forms a continuous path
