Miniature Country Home
thingiverse
I am confident that what I have created is unlike anything else on Thingiverse. This consists of two models, each one unique in its own way. The first model is a paper creation that I designed from scratch. I have provided a file that can be printed out on cardstock and then cut out and glued together to form a 3-D structure. The second model is a highly detailed 28 mm miniature country home that I also designed for 3-D printing, with subtle differences from the first one. The 3-D design consists of four distinct parts: the main floor, roof, and two upper side pieces that must be super glued together. The main floor boasts intricate interior wood flooring, a cozy fireplace, two doors, and four windows. The front windows feature traditional lattice work patterns, while the other two are adorned with shutters. The exterior is meticulously detailed with textured stone, which required careful attention to get just right - neither too subtle nor too overdone. A charming chimney adds to the overall charm of the design. Building the paper model after completing the 3-D printable design was an absolute delight, and having them side by side was a thrill. The roof may require additional support at its 90-degree ends for stability.
