A keyboard based off the Sick68 in case anyone is interested in a more minimalist aesthetic.

Using an arduino pro micro “upgraded” to get 2 extra pins, here is a guide.

Key layout is the same as the sick68 (As it uses the same plate)

I used a soldering iron and 3D printer pen to join the two halves and sanded it smooth with progressively finer sandpaper up to 2000 grit then painted it.

This project isn't for the faint-heated and can take some time and patients but it's a great way to practice your soldering skills and get the satisfaction of completing a complex, functional project.

For more instruction of how to build and wire this keyboard see the this guide for a technical breakdown or better yet this build log for a more visual set of instruction; or the original thing.

The firmware configuration for this board can be found packaged with the QMK firmware or on github. Thanks to umbynos for configuring the firmware for this board in his project.
