Mini Vise Mount for Unimat DB2000 Sl

This is a compact mount that I designed to replicate the original mount included with the vise. It enables the vise to attach securely to the Unimat's cross slide and facilitates milling operations by providing a solid attachment point. A 1/4-20 counter sink bolt is used to secure the mount to the cross slide, while a 1/4-20 socket cap screw ensures the vise is firmly attached to the mount itself. The hole was tapped using a 1/4-20 form tap, not a cutting tap, and it has performed flawlessly. I've utilized this mount for several aluminium parts with excellent results. One notable project involved creating a set of soft jaws for my larger 4" Kurt vise. I discovered that since the spindle's angle can be adjusted, it is relatively easy to tram in the vise jaws so they align perfectly with the spindle. I printed this part using a dissolvable support material, which may make printing more challenging without some modifications or breakaway supports.
