Hi everyone, due to an alarming surge in Covid-19 patients with no signs of slowing down, there is a pressing need for Mechanical Ventilators to address the severe respiratory challenges they face.My project, The Mini Ventilator 1.0, is a fundamental concept based on my research and idea about ventilators, focusing on resolving pressure difference, flow control issues, and ensuring BVM safety.By connecting various sensors, this design can be remotely controlled and monitored through a smartphone.The plan will evolve in future updates.Working:As illustrated by the images, connecting the compressor to the inlet valve and limiting the inlet flow allows for precise CUFF or BLOW TUBE expansion control, compressing the BVM and drawing out oxygen.This innovative design can regulate peep value and mitigate Baro-Trauma, key aspects to be refined in future revisions.
