I've been testing out various modified fan mounts for my Ender 3 using stock fans, and to be honest, many of them seem overly complicated. After printing the "MinV2 Cooler" by ThijsRio, I found this design to be refreshingly simple yet effective. To enhance the rigidity of the backplate mount, I made a few tweaks: I increased its thickness by 0.5mm, enlarged the hole diameter to accommodate a rivnut, and added a small retaining clip. Additionally, I enlarged the hole size in the fan mount. The only downside is that it requires some specialized hardware and the removal of the hot end for installation. After using this design for a while, I noticed that the backplate tended to distort over time, so I updated both the backplate (V6) and clip (V1) designs and printed them in PETG instead.
