Mini USS Reliant Game Pawn

Mini USS Reliant Game Pawn

I designed this model as a game piece for Monopoly or Cosmic Wimpout games, drawing inspiration from the USS Reliant, one of the few Federation Starships that can sit flat on its own. My favorite movie, Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan, was the natural choice to base my design on. After attempting to print other "official" Reliant models at a small scale with disappointing results, I created this sturdy model by eyeballing pictures and relying on memory, aiming for an authentic "Reliant-ish" look. I recommend printing at 40-60% scale of the .stl file to achieve a game piece-sized model. Printing as low as 25% is also feasible, but you'll need to sacrifice detail on the hull. Even at 100%, the print may not be worth it due to its minimal detail. To ensure successful printing, orient the model so it stands on its nacelles and enable supports. I use a brim with baseplate supports and recommend the same for optimal results.
