Greetings, I was experimenting with geo and attempted to craft a novel grip design, but unfortunately, it didn't quite align with my vision - still, perhaps someone will discover a use for it or glean something valuable from it. Create lines on a square shape - create a cross (triangle using the cut tool) - select the edges you wish to work with - apply a bevel - tidy up any rough corners - mirror - deform and bend - form a circle - add a smooth curve (or convert 3D preview to mesh in Maya) If you incorporate this into your model, please link back and share, I'm truly eager to see what others come up with.
