MINI TURN TABLE 3D SCANNER / PHOTOGRAMMETRY HEAVY DUTY If you decide to print this project and are satisfied with the final result, do not forget to purchase a roll of filament so I can continue testing and improving these projects or designing new ones! If you're unhappy with the design or experience issues with your printed parts, send me a message and we'll work together to resolve the problem. If you choose not to buy me a roll of filament or cannot afford it, that's okay; I still hope you enjoy printing my designs! Design for Heavy Duty Projects 200X200 PRINT TABLE For extreme loads or permanent stationary setup - photo/scanning station - remove legs and use the unit on a flat surface with a hole for the motor and one for central bolt! Use base templates for cutting holes on the surface. Secure it with M4 Countersunk bolts using the leg holes. A light version includes a reduced in thickness base and a short bolt/pressure bearing. Use only flat on surface - without legs. Gear 5/1 ratio; gears are offset with 0.2mm one from another to compensate for print glitches. Design to use a Stepper Motor - Nema 17 - use any of the projects already online to operate and control the turn table and camera shutter/scanner. Motor Gear uses a M4 Stud Bolt 6-8mm and a M4 Nut - Added different gears, with bore from 5.1 to 5.8mm. Base on your printer capabilities, use the one you see fit! In my case, I started printing from 5.1mm which was impossible to fit to the motor and ended with 5.6mm which was a tight fit, however, I think it's okay. Nema Motor uses 4 X M3 6mm countersunk bolts Legs use 6 X M4 18-20mm counter sunk bolts + nuts + washers Air Soft Balls are 6.0mm - I use metal, use whatever you have; clean all bearing channels to ensure a smooth movement. All parts are checked for naked edges or errors - therefore... all are going to be printable! If the design is good or if the parts are going to fit... that's another story! Design to print without support... mostly... except for the parts what need support By Costa
