Mini Trebuchet
thingiverse
This is a DIY little trebuchet I designed for entertainment purposes. The original blueprint had a defect in the payload delivery system so I modified the arm to include a small finger. Printing the sling isn't required but I wanted to experiment with flexible materials. Any fabric or possibly even paper could work! The holes for strings are 2.5mm wide. The sling strings should extend from the Arm hole to the lever arm, and the basket should be able to clear the base when it's attached to the arm and the latter is in a vertical position. I secured the holders to the base with simple universal adhesive. Don't forget to print 2x holders. Use responsibly! Even though it's a low power device, it can still cause an eye injury. It performs fairly well with standard size marbles.
