Mini Tiny Whoop (Inductrix based mini quad)
thingiverse
A new frame version has been added to accept 8.5mm motors. This is an 84 mm true x configuration mini/micro quad with ducted props that utilizes the stock Blade Inductrix FC, 7X20mm motors with Hubsan props (or similar size), and the Tiny Whoop FPV setup. I have been flying with 205mah Mylipo batteries, achieving approximately 2 to 2 1/2 minutes of flight time for hard flying. The all-up weight with a 205mah battery is around 37 grams. The frame by itself weighs 9.3grams. It flies really well in my opinion, very much like the Inductrix but with way more power and punch. Using the stock Inductrix FC screws, I simply remove the rubber grommets and attach the FC directly to the frame. Additionally, clear rubber hair ties are used around the frame to hold the battery in place. Print Settings: Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.18 - 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: This has only been printed in ABS. Print upside down, and place supports under the duct stator vanes. Post-Printing: I have had to clean up the top side of the motor holders a couple of times. A small razor blade was used to re-round the holes a little.
