Mini Talon Tail Skid

I've designed a new tail skid with an incredibly lightweight profile that easily clears a 9-inch propeller. Its thickness is just 3mm, while its rim measures a sturdy 1.2mm along the length in the center. This central section is carefully seated into a 3mm deep groove cut into the foam for maximum stability sideways. The design minimizes drag to only what's necessary.
