My wife made me relocate my Orca 040 to the basement, so I swapped it for a table in the living room instead. She's not fully satisfied yet, but having a smaller setup helps. It's a work in progress. Using 75% plastic, I created a 3/4 clone of the Orca using both print and laser-cut elements. As a nerdy husband, it's just what I needed! Once bugs are sorted, I might make more. A big thanks to Gubbels Engineering for inspiring me with their Orca designs. The parts have been modified to fit a Mark7 laser-cut extruder clone, which I saw on RepRap but can't seem to locate now. Soon, I'll upload extruder drawings to complete the project. On April 15th, I shared photos of my PIP REV2 assembly, printing "Andre holder," "lejeholdere" at 75% size in ABS and "mk7 fan duct" at 100% size in ABS, along with "thy3d lm8uu leje" at 75% size in PLA. Some elements are from Orca 040, while others are from Thingiverse. Credits go to thingiverse.com/thing:10287 and thingiverse.com/thing:16817. Stay tuned for updates on my website, www.thy3d.dk, where the laser-cut and printer options will be available starting May 1st. Happy printing!
