Mini Switch Cover

This is a revised version 4 of the Toggle Switch cover located here. The files originate from http://sallyengineering.weebly.com/ I incorporated an angled block into the design, allowing the switch to flip when the cover is closed. The model was printed with 100% fill and .2 mm layers. A better cooling system is needed for printing smaller parts. This Toggle Switch cover is designed for small switches similar to those found on Digikey. The switch part number is 2M1-SP1-T1-B1-M2QE, available at Digikey under the product code 432-1168-ND. I was unable to find a suitable screw to secure the hinge, but a very small tapered screw or a #2-56 might work best for this design. The screws I eventually used were #2-56. A 5/64" drill bit was used to clean out the holes, available at Digikey under the product code H701-ND. I made the hole for the switch smaller than necessary to accommodate multiple different switches. You may need to drill out the hole to fit your specific switch type.
