I wanted a small spool holder for my Singer Touch and Sew 620 because I use the skinny Gutermann spools sometimes. I got the idea when I first started sewing on a Singer Esteem II and a smaller spool holder was provided, but I never used it because I bought Coats & Clark spools. This mini spool holder is a snug fit on the spool pin. It isn't loose.
