Mini Speeder Fuselage Mould
thingiverse
Attention: This File Contains the Fuselage Mould Design for Laminating in Fiber Composite. The design is split into three parts per half, with a mirror image of each part used to create the second half of the mould. Initial Prototype Issues: The prototype is slightly too heavy due to the use of 4x 80 g/m² glass fibre in its construction. Design Features and Measurements: The fuselage's design is straightforward, not because of a lack of expertise but rather due to the circular shape of the motor and rectangular shape of the battery. Key dimensions include: - Front diameter: 27mm - Space for lipo battery: 35 mm (width) and approximately 40 mm height - Nose length: 80 mm - Chord of wing: 110 mm - Overall length: 510 mm Electronics and Components: The aircraft features a 2306 2750 kv Outrunner motor, an APC 4.1 x 4.1 propeller, and a 4S 650 Gens Ace Tattu battery. Additional components include: - KISS ESC 32A with external BEC - 3x Emax es9051 Servo Performance Specifications: The aircraft's maximum current draw is approximately 34A, with an expected RPM of 38.xxx. Weight and AUW (All-Up Weight): - First prototype weight: 267 g - Target AUW: Under 250 g. Airframe Design: - Wing constructed from CFK (Carbon Fiber Kevlar) - Horizontal tail inspired by the F3B glider. Reference Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZp-VO4k-fc
