This design redirects sound from the side speaker on a tablet to fire directly at the user, enabling lower volume settings that won't disturb those nearby. The tight fit of this speaker redirect within its foam case makes it unlikely to fall out, though a snug fit can sometimes be problematic. If you find the fit especially tight, try removing the tablet from the case and giving the piece a quick stretch before reinsertion. Conversely, if the fit is too loose, wrapping electrical tape around the piece once should provide enough thickness for a secure fit.
