Mini Smartphone ROV
thingiverse
Hai ,I was curious if I could make an underwater smartphone ROV, so I started with an idea of using the camera of an old smartphone for in the water with a controller to control the ROV, and a smartphone or tablet for on land. so that I could monitor what was happening underwater. I started by making some drawings and then printing everything with my Velleman mini Vertex 3D printer (many parts were printed that did not meet the requirements afterwards, but that is learning money) And all this I now want to share with everyone, because I think that some things can still be changed, as well as how am I going to connect this, I think that a cable connection is recommended because the radio signals are difficult to transmit through the water, so I thought about an OTG cable connection, I tried this test with a 2 meter cable and this worked with the app program Alfred. The intention now is to be able to use it up to approximately or more than 15 meters deep. But first I'm going to check the controls of the ROV to see if the engines and propeller are doing a good job SO TO BE CONTINUED
