For this project, I'm using 36 gauge aluminum, which is a popular choice for its durability and versatility. To complete the build, you'll need two 3/8" x 3/4" springs that will help with the bending process. This mini brake can cut through sheet metal up to 100mm wide, making it perfect for small-scale projects.
