Mini Scale Halo Pelican WIP

A remarkably small and low-resolution 3D model of a D77 Pelican from Halo was created by hand, using a similar-sized Lego model as reference, which measures only around 45mm in length. I had to rely on my eyesight alone, without any precise measurements, to bring this project to life. Measurements were carefully taken for each improved iteration: Improved Model 1: Width: 26mm Length: 50mm Height: 10mm This initial model has already shown great promise, and I'm excited to see where it will lead. Improved Model 2: Width: 30mm Length: 50mm Height: 10mm Significant improvements were made to the wings, nose, and under-nose hardpoint in this iteration. The overall quality of the model has also increased. Improved Model 3: Width: 30mm Length: 50mm Height: 10mm Further refinements were made to the wings, engine pods, cockpit, and overall quality of the model. Improved Model 4: Width: 30mm Length: 50mm Height: 10mm The focus shifted to improving the cockpit area and overall quality in this iteration. Improved Model 5: Width: 30mm Length: 50mm Height: 12mm A major overhaul of the tail section was undertaken, with significant improvements made to the wing/engine pods as well. Improved Model 6: Width: 32mm Length: 50mm Height: 12mm The engine pods were enlarged, and the wings were thinned out in this iteration. The overall quality of the model has also improved. Improved Model 7: Width: 32mm Length: 50mm Height: 12mm Engine pod size was increased once again, and the loading bay door area was tapered inward for a more streamlined look. A basic model, based on the Lego reference in the photo, was created with the following dimensions: Width: 26mm Length: 41mm Height: 11.2mm This serves as a starting point for future improvements. Overall, the scale of this 3D model is approximately 1:614, according to its length. I'll be adding more improved models as I go along, and this page will be regularly updated until I'm satisfied with the final result. Any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated.
