Stealth Version of a Cold Air Intake for the Mini S R53! To drill the hole into the fire plate in the right position, follow the template. Also, to mark the cutting edge (inner edge) on the outside of the lid, use the Template-Lid. I used a Dremel with a milling cutter designed for wood and plastic. If you want to shut down the original Ram Air Inlet on the front, print the cap. For MOT (in Germany TÜV), you can also print the shutdown cap to close it back up. Do not print it in PLA! ABS or PETG are highly recommended with a high infill (70%) and 0.1 layer height for a smooth look (if you want to paint it...). I used a standard K&N filter RU-3190. You will also need good glue that can handle PP / ABS / PETG. To seal the whole thing between the fire plate and Airbox, use 10mmx10mm self-adhesive EPDM / Neopren tape. Alternatively, you can laserd it out of a plate like I did. At least, you can use the sealing of an old air filter between the top and bottom of the Airbox or the 10x10mm Tape like I did.
