Mini Rubber Band Gun

Mini Rubber Band Gun

thingiverse

Rubber band gun designed around the nut of a crossbow string release. A powerful spring re-engages the trigger and nut, preparing them for the next shot. Dimensions: 22mm x 75mm rod with a diameter of 5mm by 75mm. This DIY project took just a few hours to create over a weekend. The prototype was printed using PLA on a Taz 4 3D printer at the St. Louis Hackerspace, located at http://www.archreactor.org/. Precautions for Assembly: When utilizing a heated bed, ensure the edges are clean, as this will simplify assembly and optimal function. The nut and trigger may require drilling to accommodate them properly. A 3/16 or 11/64 drill bit is suitable for the nut and trigger, while a 5/64 drill bit should be used for the link. Resetting the nut is possible with a spring from a retractable pen or an alternative component of similar size and functionality.
