Mini Rubber Band Gun

Mini Rubber Band Gun

thingiverse

Update 7/31/2016: I added a small piece (underbarrel.stl) to glue under the barrel, making it look more like the original model. This is a 3D printed remix of RBguns' Stepup action rubber band gun. His video can be found on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLb-8ofC3Zk The trigger mechanism has been simplified and now works naturally by the tension of the ammunition. When the gun runs out of ammo, the trigger won't return until it's reloaded. This is a small gun designed for little kids, but you can scale up for bigger boys who need something more substantial. To assemble this gun, simply print all the parts, insert the trigger into the main body and make sure it glides smoothly with the cover on. If necessary, sand the parts to ensure they fit together perfectly. Once assembled, glue the cover onto the main body as well as the underbarrel piece. Feel free to modify or remix this model using https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8AiODbNQrNw. To print these parts, use a Kossel Mini printer with the following settings: no rafts, no supports, 0.2 resolution and 10% infill. I designed this model using Inkscape to generate paths, which I then converted to Openscad for further editing. The STL files were edited in Tinkercad.
