Mini Rotary Tool

Mini Rotary Tool

thingiverse

This is a simple rotary tool I decided to build after finding a motor that came with a tool chuck. It's really easy to make, and does a great job cutting, sanding, and polishing (sort of) 3d prints. When printing, make sure the resolution is high enough for the threads to work. My printer allows threads to work up to 0.15mm layer heights, but no thicker. Remember, different printers have different tolerances. Parts: -Motor with chuck and key (http://amzn.to/2wapSBi) -12v plug with female socket (http://amzn.to/2waW1Zw) -or without 12v plug if you already have one (http://amzn.to/2waWtaa) -Switch for 12v (http://amzn.to/2vR6J52) -Rotary tool kit (any will work, but here's one I found) (http://amzn.to/2iedmuR) I decided to try amazon affiliate links this time, which is a program to give back some money to me for every purchase you make at no extra cost. As a college student, I don't have much money to run a website, but if I can make at least $12 per month to keep it running, I'd be more than happy. Please support me, even if it's just sharing my projects with others, which will keep me motivated to make more new things.
