Mini Rotary Tool
thingiverse
This is a simple DIY rotary tool I built using a motor that came with a tool chuck. It's incredibly easy to make, and does a fantastic job cutting, sanding, and polishing 3D prints. When printing, ensure the resolution is high enough for the threads to work properly. My printer allows threads to function up to 0.15mm layer heights, but no thicker than that. Remember, different printers have varying tolerances. Parts Needed: * Motor with chuck and key (available on Amazon) * 12v plug with female socket (also available on Amazon) + or without 12v plug if you already have one * Switch for 12v (available on Amazon) * Rotary tool kit (any will work, but here's one I found) I decided to try using Amazon affiliate links this time, which is a program that gives back some money to me for every purchase you make at no extra cost. As a college student, I don't have much money to run my website, but if I can earn at least $12 per month to keep it running, I'd be more than happy. Please support me by making a purchase or sharing my projects with others, which will motivate me to create even more new things.
