Mini robot dual gearmotor drive base

This is a compact version of my larger dual drive robot base, accessible at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3193733. The parts print without the need for supports. A main frame, two wheels, a battery latch, and a support nub are included. I utilize two common dc gearmotors that are low-cost and widely available in two gear ratios - "fast" and "slow" - with one axle or dual axles. For most projects, I purchase the dual axle version and simply cut off the unused axle side. The frame accommodates a 2-cell or 3-cell battery holder and switch, leaving space for attaching electronics, making it self-contained. You can build a body to fit over the assembled unit. A YouTube video showcasing my two robots with their bodies will be added; check out my "Robothut" channel on YouTube for more 3D printing mechanical robot projects.
