Mini retract unit for RC planes

A compact retract unit for radio-controlled aircraft. Trunnion01 is a trunnion angled at 85°. Trunnion02 is a trunnion positioned at 90°. Trunnion03 is a trunnion with an angle of 95°. Retractbase02 features a wide base to distribute the load under foam wings effectively. Remove the support blocks visible in the illustration from the trunnions and retract bases after printing, using pliers. It's easy to do so. Use 1.5 mm or 1.6 mm (1/16") steel wire as hinge and guide pins through the arm and trunnion. Use a 1.5 or 1.6 mm drill in the holes first if they are too tight. Operate it with a standard servo, but make sure it operates freely by cutting or sanding away any flash or bumps. The trunnions fit 3 mm legs. Use an M4x6 grub screw in the trunnion to secure the landing gear leg. Create a flat spot on the landing gear leg to prevent it from rotating in the trunnion. Clean up the slot in the retract bases until they are straight and parallel, ensuring that the guide pin in the arm slides smoothly.
