To maximize space in small refrigerators, I've designed a simple shelf that fits mini fridges without can holders. The process involves removing the metal grate, printing the shelf, and drilling three 1/4-inch holes. Measure carefully before drilling, as the compartment has curved surfaces and thin plastic walls. Using Afinia's printer, with 26 grams of ABS and minimum fill, it takes about 55 minutes to print. The shelf spans the entire width of the build plate (~5.5 inches) but can adjust in depth to fit varying compartment dimensions. This design accommodates the rear wall's curved in-out structure of my can holder compartment.
