Mini RC Benchy
thingiverse
So I've had this brilliant idea for a smaller RC-Benchy kicking around in my head for a while now. And I figured, given how small and straightforward the project is, I just had to get it done, and do it in time for 2019's 3D Meetup here in Sweden. So here it is, the Mini RC-Benchy - perfect for the bath tub, kiddy pool or even the sink. It's a fun little project that's sure to bring a smile to your face. For this build, you'll need one of those tiny RC boats called "Hurricane". If you search for "777-218 boat" on Ebay, Amazon, GearBest and other online retailers, you should be able to find them shipped out to you for around 10-15 dollars. I've also included an STP-file with the plain deck and an STP with the cutout solid for the charging port. If you want to get creative and make your own version, such as a tug boat or whatever, this should be all you need. Just read on below and take a look at the pictures above, and you'll have it assembled in no time. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have - I'm here to help.
