I designed a hold-down system for storing quads in a hard case without spending extra money on specialized cases with foam inserts. Instead, I purchased an affordable organizer case from Harbor Freight and came up with this solution myself. The slots are perfectly suited for 12mm velcro straps. For reference, you can find the Harbor Freight case at http://www.harborfreight.com/tool-storage/part-storage/8-bin-portable-parts-storage-case-93927.html, and the velcro strap style is available at many online retailers, such as Suntekstore, located at http://www.suntekstore.com/goods.php?id=15010350&utm_source=gbus&utm_medium=paid. Printing Requirements I used the following print settings: - Supports: No - Notes: Print on the edge with a generous brim. Supports are not necessary. Post-Printing Process After printing, I applied hot glue to the top of the hold-down to prevent it from breaking. This was just a precautionary measure; I'm not sure if it was actually needed.
