Mini Quad Launch Control Launch Pad

I was searching for a lightweight and compact launch pad for my mini quad that could utilize the launch control feature from Betaflight. Unfortunately, all I could find were bulky and heavy options, so I decided to come up with something myself. The simplest setup is to place the four pads directly on the ground, which requires some type of soft surface. The connecting pieces will add a bit of rigidity to the structure. This design can also be mounted on the base plate, for instance, if no soft ground is available. In such scenarios, you can extend two arms for added stability, ensuring that the launch pad remains upright. The base plate serves as a housing unit and has a relatively small footprint. The pegs used are approximately 150 x 3 mm in size. The base plate itself measures 160x140x20 mm and weighs around 200g. It fits comfortably into my backpack without adding excessive weight, making it suitable for most 5'' racing quads. This project is far from perfect and may not appeal to everyone, but I'm pleased with the final result. Perhaps it will inspire other makers to create similar lightweight launch pads.
