Mini Quad Grass Launcher

Mini Quad Grass Launcher

I recently came across a wet weather situation where I needed to place my GT-M200 in mud or grass without actually touching the ground, prompting me to develop this solution. The design is tailored specifically for my GT-M200 but should also fit most other true X 5 inch mini quads, as it's still a work in progress and allows easy takeoff (just remember not to tilt forward initially until you're clear of any obstacles). A 4S 1300mAh battery comfortably fits within the cradle. I put my prototype to the test today and was pleased with the results; check out my Cura screen shot for printing instructions as it took a few attempts but this method worked best. Hopefully, this will inspire others to create more Grass Launchers, as most stands are designed specifically for hard flat surfaces. Please note that this design isn't suitable for track racing due to its 10-degree angle, causing the quad to bump against the arm tabs; if you wanted to increase the legs and tilt more, it might work okay for track racing.
