Mini Quad FPV camera mount
thingiverse
This is a straightforward FPV Camera mount I designed to sit on top of my build of the 8.5mm H125 Micro Quad. The Eachine TX01 NTSC Super Mini AIO 5.8G 40CH 25MW VTX 600TVL 1/4 Cmos FPV Camera's electronic components generate enough heat to soften and deform PLA. This mount sidesteps heat issues by clamping down on the neck of the lens. Print: - No support is required. - Two wall layers are sufficient. - Two top and bottom layers are needed. - A 0.2 resolution print is ideal. - 20% infill will do. Additional parts: - One 14mm M3 bolt - One M3 nut - Cable tie Construct: 1. Place the camera in the clamping hole and hold both sides together. 2. Insert the bolt and position the nut into the hexagonal hole, screw the bolt into the nut until both sides are snug together and the camera is securely clamped into position. 3. Thread the cable tie through the holes under the camera to mount it securely on the micro quad. A video of the first successful flight captured by my daughter Sophia is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7CSsuS_CvQ. I was amazed at how easy FPV makes controlling a mini quad!
