Mini Puzzle #2
thingiverse
This is the second puzzle I created. The puzzle measures about 30 mm x 40 mm, slightly larger than my initial Mini Puzzle. Each piece started as a full-sized block shape in 5 mm increments. I carefully measured 0.150 mm inside each side to create a border that's 0.150 mm thick around every piece. Next, I removed the small area outside these measurements, making the parts of the pieces that stick out slightly thinner and the pieces that are inward wider. I discovered that 0.150 mm makes the pieces fit together perfectly. No pressure or force is needed, but neither are there big spaces. Each piece is now 5 mm tall. This puzzle is pretty basic, with only 7 pieces - three more than my first puzzle. I hope you'll enjoy this puzzle if you make one and would love to see it if you do!
