Mini Pulse Motor
thingiverse
This was an exciting engineering project to create a remarkably small pulse motor. I designed three configurations, but it's worth noting that the third configuration was the one that actually worked. You can view the video of this build here: https://youtu.be/eSzVXSYhLmc. Watch the motor throttling in action here: https://youtu.be/QGNeUsbtkv0. The configuration that worked, as you'll see in the video, is the third one with the reed relay mounted at an angle. I utilized magnets measuring 6mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The parts were printed with Autodesk Magenta resin on a Draken DLP 3D Printer.
