Mini Power Supply Case - ZK-4KX or ZK-5KX

There are a number of nice cases for the ZK-4KX DC-DC buck-boost converter module, though I found very difficult to make the connections inside the box and nearly impossible to introduce the unit into the case if the wires were previously connected. In this model, the connections are made before inserting the module into the box (the banana plug pair on the front is inserted after the power supply unit and then easily mounted before closing the rear cover). Use the same case for ZK-4KX or ZX-5KX DC-DC units. Lid depends on the module: ZX-5KX has a built-in fan, so you can choose MINI LID SWITCH.stl or MINI LID NO FAN.stl depending if you want or not a switch on the rear to turn the power on/off. For ZX-4KX you can use the same covers, but if you plan to use high wattages it is convenient to install a 4010 mm fan on the rear lid (MINI LID ZK-4KX.stl or MINI LID NO SWITCH). In this case, I use the switch to connect or disconnect the fan. The unit can easily be powered with a simple charger or with an old laptop charger for those applications that need more power. A version of this box for the WZ3605 DC-DC buck-boost adjustable voltage regulator is available (thing: 5643001)
