Mini Portable ashtray

Mini Portable ashtray

I wanted an ashtray that could fit neatly into my pocket and be easily forgotten. When walking with our dogs, we often find ourselves without access to a bin, making it essential to have something to dispose of cigarette filters. Since I never put lit cigarettes in it, I decided to 3D print the portable ash tray in PLA. Initially, I downloaded Sydney's design for a pocket-sized ashtray, but unfortunately, it was much larger than expected. To resolve this issue, I scaled down the design to approximately 40% of its original size using Cura. The resulting size is perfect, accommodating three to four cigarette butts comfortably. However, on this scale, the divider takes up a significant amount of space. I created my own version from scratch in FreeCAD, taking precise measurements from a physical scaled model of Sydney's design. This improved version boasts several key enhancements: * Easier opening due to lips on both sides * A larger inner compartment thanks to the removal of the second compartment * At 40% scale, the small cap is surprisingly tiny and easy to misplace Please note that this design is still in beta. I plan to test it further before deciding whether to refine or abandon it, depending on my mood.
