I built a small CNC plotter using a few CD/DVD drives and decided it was the perfect project to hone my skills with Arduino, GRBL, and Universal Gcode Sender. The design seamlessly integrated with the motors and gears I had on hand, making any modifications a breeze. My movement tests were a resounding success, but I did need a bit of glue to secure some gears to their printed counterparts.
