Mini Phone Stand

I was looking for a phone stand that's incredibly small, has a low profile and prints quickly, yet still provides robust support for my phone in both landscape and portrait orientations without feeling flimsy. After conducting a couple of experiments, I landed on this design. It's an ultra-minimalist phone stand that's no bigger than necessary! Measuring just 35x24x19mm (LxWxH), it takes up virtually zero space. The phone slot is angled at 15 degrees and 9.1mm wide. Since my Samsung Galaxy S8 has a thickness of 8.1mm, I designed the stand with some extra clearance to make it easy to insert or remove the phone from the slot. Feel free to use this info as a reference point and scale up or down accordingly if you have a thicker phone. This tiny stand is remarkably fast to print, occupies hardly any space, and boasts impressive stability. It supports your phone in both portrait and landscape orientations (just be sure to position your phone fairly centered when using it in landscape). To print this design, hold the model upright as you would when using it. No supports are required. I recommend printing it solid with a layer height of 0.2mm or smaller for optimal results. For my own build, I used 95% infill and a 0.08mm layer height on an Ender 3 at a print speed of 60mm/s. At this scale, the level of infill has minimal impact on the overall structure.
