Mini Patator ExperimentBoy
thingiverse
Human: Watch the mini potato launcher presented in the 3D printing video on YouTube's ExperimentBoy channel! You can download all three parts to print on one file or separately if needed. The two holes on the side are designed for a piezo electric lighter (the black thing that makes click-click sounds on some lighters). Just connect the wire coming out of the piezo in one hole and another wire on the metal part to insert it into the other hole, and with the correct spacing, an spark will form between the wires. Next, place a projectile at the cannon's entrance (near the chamber) that completely blocks it without force, then add a little bit of lighter gas at the back. At base scale, 1-2 seconds of pressure on a lighter is enough to get good proportions. At 150% scale (as shown in the video), it takes about 4-5 seconds. Be careful, I won't be responsible for any potential damage or injuries caused by this toy! Have fun! Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm or less Infill: 50% or more Notes: Be careful with the thread of the plug and the bottom of the chamber, as printing with supports may fill it up and it's hard to remove. Same thing, make sure you have a fine enough resolution for the thread to be precise.
