Mini NES Pi 3 Case (with support pieces removed)
thingiverse
This is a reboot of the original NES Pi 3 Case (Customizable) by LKM. The problem I had with his build was that the support pieces for elevated lines were built right into the design. To get around this, I removed these support pieces so the software could put in the supports itself - Cura being my choice. I also ran into trouble with the bottom part of the build. An image is available that shows exactly which parts I had to trim with a knife. Hopefully, V2 will address this issue for you. My build features the plain body style without any text. Bottom V2 has not been tested yet. Please let me know if it works for you. Here's a summary of the original thing: This Raspberry Pi 3 NES case is designed to be as visually similar to an actual NES as possible. It fits a Raspberry Pi 3 snugly inside, and there's plenty of space in the case for adding extra components. The design was created using OpenSCAD and can be customized to suit your needs. The case is incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble without needing any screws - although you will need to screw the Pi itself into the bottom section of the case. All ports are easily accessible, making it a breeze to connect everything up. And with this case, printing and assembling the pieces couldn't be easier - well, almost, anyway! Be sure to check out this video that shows some tips for printing and assembling the pieces: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PS3_iR2NpAU
