Mini Monster Truck/Car/Smart With Suspension - REMIX

I remixed Jakejake's Mini Monster Truck With Suspension, combining his printed suspension with my own tongue and groove assemblies to create new options for the Monster Truck body. I designed several unique bodies in Solid Works, including a blank template for those who want to customize their own truck. To make the new bodies, I imported Jakejake's original truck design into Solid Works, cut off the top section, and added my tongue and groove assembly. The MonsterTruck and MonsterStealth bodies were entirely my design, while the Smart body was inspired by an image I edited in Inkscape and then exported as a DXF file. The blank template has the groove stop set at the perfect distance to mark the axle distance, making it easy to print without any support. I also created plain versions of the Smart and Truck bodies, but kept the swooping lines from the originals for visual interest. This design reduces the need for support material during printing, and the tongue and groove assembly has a 0.2mm clearance that fits tightly together. With some gentle sanding, the edges should slide smoothly into place. Happy printing with your Da Vinci 1.0 printer!
