Mini Monster Rally Fighter With Suspension - REMIX

Summary This remix reimagines the Rally Fighter car with a Monster Truck twist for the Remix Challenge. The suspension and tire components can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1977577 I started by using Meshlab to minimize faces and remove side view mirrors. Next, netfabb was used to carve a flat surface at the bottom of the car, which I then imported into XYZWare to compress it in X and Y axes for better proportion alignment with the monster truck design. Finally, in solidworks, I precision-cut the groove from the base. I first spotted this vehicle at IMTS in 2012 and was impressed by its presence among the exhibits.
