A precision moulding cutter for precise quarter round cuts and similar profiles. Insert the moulding inside and achieve flawless cuts with each pass. The designed cutout measures 17mm x 17mm, featuring a deliberate 5mm chamfer for optimal diagonal alignment. Angled slits at 45 degrees and 90 degrees are precision-cut at 1.5mm wide for effortless cutting. To ensure a perfect fit, accurately scale the model to accommodate snug measurements. For 5/8" quarter round moulding, increase the scale by 6% for sufficient clearance within the cutout. If you're working with 3/4" quarter round moulding, boost the scale by 35% to guarantee optimal results. Carefully consider the cutout dimensions and apply trigonometric calculations to compensate for any shrinkage during printing. Scale accordingly to achieve the desired precision. With this setup, you'll enjoy precise cuts every time. Recommended print settings for a 0.4mm nozzle: - Resolution: 0.2mm - Infill density: 75% - Wall thickness: 1.2mm - Acceptable materials include PETG, ABS, and PLA. - Supports are not necessary when printing from the bottom side up.
